Discussion about crib requirements
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted with the provider from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. There were three children in care ranging in age from two months to four years old for a total of eight points. An infant was observed being fed and sleeping. Two preschool children were observed watching an age appropriate television and playing a game on a tablet. Three children's records were reviewed. One provider record and three household member records were reviewed. Emergency drills were up to date. The weekly menu was posted. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-70-A Description: Based on review of documentation, the provider failed to provide parents required information before the child's first day of attendance. Evidence: Child A, enrolled 8/8/2016, did not have provisions of the emergency preparedness and response plan in the file and disclosure that there is no liability insurance. Plan of Correction: The parent will be asked to sign the correct documents today at pick up.
