- Technical Assistance:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was made on 8/11/16 at approximately 11:30 a.m. and concluded at 1:00 p.m. The inspector met with the provider and we followed-up on violations cited at the last inspection. There were five family day home children present with the provider's three children. A total of eight children with points equaling four. The children were observed having free play and playing board games. Two children records reviewed. Conversations were held with the provider and children. The provider is not administering any medications. Observations were made in the home. The most recent emergency drill was documented on 7/26/16.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-60-B Description: Based on review of some children records the provider did not have all required information on file. Evidence: On 8/11/16, child #1 and #2 records did not include a second emergency contact, address or phone number. Plan of Correction: I will contact parents this evening to get second emergency contact.
