An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today. Seven children were present with the provider and two assistants. Total 17 points with three caregivers. The children were playing outside and eating lunch at the time of the inspection. One child is new since the last inspection. His record was reviewed today and found complete. Record keeping continues to be well organized. The provider will be participating in a new training series for family day home providers being developed by the Office for Children, using her program as a model. Congratulations! Standard #: 22VAC40-111-770 Description: Based on observation, there was no working battery-operated weather band radio available. Plan of Correction: New batteries for the radio will be obtained.
