Today an unannounced renewal visit was conducted with the Provider. This visit took place in the afternoon between 12noon-1:30 There were 2 children present with the Provider for a total of 8 points within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed having lunch, free play and nap time. Positive interactions were observed during this inspection. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and provider records, fire drill log, and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-900-B Description: Based on observation of the children, one child was observed walking around playing while drinking. Evidence: Child #2 was observed walking around and playing while drinking a bottle. Plan of Correction: Provider stated that the child was about to eat lunch and the child usually sits with her.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-960-E Description: Based on observation of the infants and bottles, two bottles did not include the child's name and or date. Evidence: Child #1 & #2 bottles did not include the name and date. Plan of Correction: Provider stated that child #1 usually get the bottle in a sippy cup but since its close to nap time she gives it to him in the bottle.
