54.1-3408 Provider must be MAT certified to administer prescription medication.
Today an unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 11:30am-12:35am. There were 4 children( 10 points) directly supervised by 2 staff. The home, 2 staff records, 2 children?s records, evacuation drills, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing freely and napping. There was a sufficient supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. An area of non-compliance is identified in the Violation Notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-60-B Description: Based on record review, 2 of 2 children did not have written authorization for emergency medical care. Evidence: 1. Children 1 and 2 did not have the written authorization for emergency medical care or a parent's written objection. Plan of Correction: I will get the parent to fill it out.
