54.1-3408 Provider must be MAT certified to administer prescription medication.
An unannounced inspection was conducted this morning. There were 6 children with 2 staff for a total of 15 points. The Inspector reviewed background checks, staff training records, MAT certification, drills, menu, and first aid and CPR. The children had activities and the Provider did have Sesame Street playing for the children. The outside could not be inspected due to the rain. Please call with questions 703-479-4679
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-920 Description: Based on observation, interviews, and menu review the Provider is not serving items listed on the menu. The Provider had rice and/or macaroni, chicken, vegetables, milk and fruit but the menu listed other items. The Provider stated she changes it to meet the tastes of the children but follows components. Plan of Correction: I will be sure to record the changes.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-210-A Description: Based on record review, the assistant os 6 hours short in annual training hours. Plan of Correction: We are both registered for an all day training on October 8.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-320-G Description: The wood burning stove has not had an annual inspection. Plan of Correction: I will call to get it done.
