The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced renewal inspection from 9:00am - 11:30am. There were five children in care for a total of fifteen points with two caregivers. The children were observed playing with toys, watching cartoons and listening to a story. Three caregiver's, two household member's and six children's records were reviewed. Violations from the previous inspection were also reviewed and all had been corrected. The family day home is in the process of building a back deck. The children will not have access to the deck until it is completed with railing on the deck and a hand rail on the stairs. If you have any questions, please contact your licensing inspector at (276) 608-3758. Thank you for your cooperation.
