- Technical Assistance:
At this inspection, the provider and inspector discussed the importance of documenting when background checks were sent out and following up on the status of background checks. We also discussed the requirements for any family members turning 18 years old and the need to complete background checks and have tuberculosis screenings completed.
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 10:00am-11:40am. There were 10 children(27 points) directly supervised by 2 staff. The home, 2 staff records, 5 children?s records, 4 household member?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed playing freely, singing and dancing and eating lunch which consisted of crackers, slices of deli meat, cheese and carrots. Hand washing procedures were also observed. There was a sufficient supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. If you have any questions regarding this inspection, please contact Leah Pagala at 703-537-6757 or firstname.lastname@example.org
