Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted beginning at 9:30 and ending at 10:55. There were four children in care, ages three and four years. The children were observed in circle time, playing at centers and participating in music and movement activities. The provider was observed using kind voice tones and explaining the reasons for rules. Children listened intently. They were familiar with their daily routines and looked forward to different activities. Two family files were reviewed - see violation notice. Four children's files were reviewed and were found to be in compliance. Emergency escape drills and shelter in place drills are up to date. If you have any questions, please notify Linda Reynolds at 540-272-2663 or email at linda.reynolds@dss.virginia.gov
