Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was initiated today at 12:40pm. The physical plant, 3 caregiver/household member files, 4 children's files, caregiver training, children's activities, emergency procedures, drills and supplies were inspected today. There were 6 children, totaling 14 points, under the supervision of 2 caregivers. During the inspection, children were observed eating lunch, cleaning up, having diapers changed and enjoying free play. The interactions between the children and caregivers were seen to be positive and constructive in nature. The children bring their lunches from home each day. The Provider is not certified in MAT (medication administration training) and there are no children with any medication needs at this time. Both caregivers are certified in CPR and First Aid. Should you have any questions, please contact me at mary.wizbicki@dss.virginia.gov.
