54.1-3408 Provider must be MAT certified to administer prescription medication.
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted with provider. There were five children present, ranging in age from 16 months to four years, totalling 12 points. The children were waking from rest, having afternoon snack, and playing with a wide range of age appropriate toys, cars, and blocks. Snack served today: cheese and crackers and apple slices. One new child's file was reviewed and is complete. Provider renewed first aid certification on 10/15/2016. Medication Administration Training certification was renewed 5/7/2016. Provider exceeds in the required annual training hours.
