An uannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on December 8, 2016. The provider and an assistant were present with 8 children. (20 points) Seven of the children were resting and watching a holiday movie, and 1 infant was sleeping in a crib. Earlier the children had worked on a Christmas art project. It was noted that the hot tub had been removed and the swimming pool was being dismantled with the liner removed. The provider and updated her first aid and CPR certifications. Evacuation and shelter drills had been conducted and were documented. Four children's files and 3 adult files were reviewed. Inspection began: 1:00 Inspection ended: 2:00
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-170-A Description: Based on a review of documentation, the family day home did not have a current report of TB screening on file for a household member. Evidence: Household member # 2 did not have a report of TB screening on file. Plan of Correction: The TB will be done 12/9/16.
Standard #: 22VAC40-191-40-D-4-a Description: Based on a review of documentation, the family day home did not have a search of central registry on file for a household member who had been residing in the home over 30 days. Evidence: Household member # 2 who had moved to the home over 30 days ago did not have a completed search of the the central registry on file. Plan of Correction: The CPS search will be sent by 12/12/16.
