An unannounced Renewal inspection was conducted in the Family Day Home. The Provider and an Assistant were present. Upon arrival to the home, the LI observed 3 children napping. Based on the ages of the children, today's points totaled 6. The Provider reported 7 children are currently enrolled. After nap, the children were served an afternoon snack of cheese bread and milk. A sample of 4 records was reviewed, 1 child's record and 3 caregivers' records. A discussion was held with the Provider regarding the incomplete Renewal application that was received in the Licensing office. The LI had a blank application and the Provider completed and signed the documents at the time of the inspection. The application was marked as complete on this date. Findings of the inspection were reviewed at exit. If you have questions, please call (540)309-2310. The inspection was conducted from approximately 2:45pm to 5:00pm. Thank you.
