Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today. Observed 9 children directly supervised by the provider and an assistant. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. A sample of 3 children's records, 2 caregiver records, and household members records were reviewed. The home, posted documents, emergency supplies and procedures were also reviewed. The children were engaged in various activities, to include: practicing sequencing, letter and number identification, playing puzzles, blocks and cause and effect toys. Hand washing and diaper changing routines were also observed. Areas of non compliance are identified in this report. The exit interview was conducted with the provider. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-750-A
Description: Based upon observation, diaper cream was not kept inaccessible to children in care. Evidence: A tube of diaper cream was observed sitting on the fence in the hallway outside of the children's rest room.

Plan of Correction: Diaper cream was removed during the inspection.
