Licensing Inspector arrived at 11:30 AM and departed at 1:00 PM. At the time of the inspection, there were two children, ages infant and preschool (6 points) in care with one caregiver. All enrolled children and provider, household / assistant records were reviewed. Violations were noted in the areas of personnel and emergencies.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-780-B Description: Based on a review of four children's records, it was determined that the provider did not ensure that annually the emergency information was reviewed with the parent annually. Evidence: The file for child #1, who was in care at the time of the inspection, did not have verification of reviewing emergency information with the parent. Plan of Correction: Provider will review information with parent at pick-up today.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-140-B-3 Description: Based on review and interview, it was determined that the provider did not ensure that all providers, assistants and substitutes have current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Evidence: The CPR certification for all providers, substitutes and assistants expired on 10/11/16. Plan of Correction: CPR and first aid is scheduled for 2/25/16 for all persons working in the home.

Evidence: First aid certifications for all providers, substitutes and assistants expired on 10/11/16. Plan of Correction: CPR and first aid is scheduled for 2/25/16 for all persons working in the home.
