Technical Assistance:
National fingerprint background checks go into effect 9/30/17. The provider recently received zoning approval for an increased capacity to 12 children. The license will be modified to reflect this change in maximum capacity. The backyard playset has been removed, but the large slide still remains on the ground in the backyard. This slide shall be removed from the children's play area before the children use the backyard play area. It was reported to the Inspector that the slide would be moved to the garage.

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today. The provider and one assistant caregiver were caring for 6 children, totaling 14 points. The children were observed playing with toys, assembling puzzles, and listening to music. Interactions between both caregivers and all children in care were observed during this inspection. Thank you for meeting with me today. If you have any questions regarding this inspection please email me at

A compliance history is in no way a rating for a facility.

The online compliance history includes only information after July 1, 2003. In addition, the online compliance history includes information regarding adverse actions that may be the subject of a pending appeal. An adverse action is not final until a provider has exhausted or waived all due process rights. For compliance history prior to July 1, 2003, or information regarding the status of pending adverse actions, please contact the Licensing Inspector listed in the facility's information. The Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) is not responsible for any errors in or omissions from the compliance history information.
