The Provider has ordered more mulch for resilient surfacing. Allergy needs to include plan of action that Provider can follow in the event of an emergency.
An unannounced inspection was completed today from 125-245. There were 9 children present with 2 caregivers for a total of 20 points. The Inspector reviewed household, caregiver's, and children's records. Daily attendance was also reviewed , and Inspector noted that it also reflects points assigned. The Provider is no longer MAT certified and there is currently no one on medication. The home was walked through but care is only provided on one floor. Hand washing was also observed. Standard #: 22VAC40-191-40-D-5-a Description: Based on record review of household records, the Provider did not obtain a Child Protective services registry check within 30 days of a person in the home who turned 14 year old. The Provider had a background check conducted and presented the record but it was a CR check. Upon conversation, the Provider stated she though that was required. Plan of Correction: I thought I had conducted the right back ground check but we will fill out, get it notarized and send out.
