- Technical Assistance:
Discussed 16 hours of annual training needed by September. Also, only 2 shelter in place drills are needed annually but evacuation drills are needed each month.
An unannounced monitoring visit was conducted today from 9:20am to 10:45am. 2 children (7 points) and two caregivers were present. Ratios were in compliance. The physical space, first aid kit, emergency evacuation drills, 2 children's records, the provider and assistant records and Emergency Preparedness Plan were all reviewed. Required documentation was posted. The temperatures in the refrigerator and freezer were inspected due to a previous complaint. The refrigerator/freezer were in compliance. The children were observed playing and interacting positively with the caregivers. The space was clean, organized and the provider had an abundance of developmentally appropriate materials. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. For any questions regarding this inspection, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
