Comments:
An unannounced monitoring visit was conducted today. Eight children were present with two caregivers for twenty four points which is within ratios for supervision. Children had finished lunch (spaghetti with meat sauce, apples and milk) and were having free play and getting ready for rest time. Reviewed emergency preparation and drills and written plan were current. One staff and one child's record were reviewed and complete. Refrigerator temperature for food and bottle storage was 37 degrees. Bottles were labeled. Both household pets have current rabies vaccinations. New dress up clothes have been purchased and the dedicated day care space is well organized and maintained. Areas of non-compliance are identified in this report. Please sign and date the report and return it to me within 5 calendar days from date of receipt. If you have any questions regarding the inspection, please feel free to contact me. Thank you Ann Dramstad Licensing Inspector 703-314-0860 ann.dramstad@dss.virginia.gov
