54.1-3408 Provider must be MAT certified to administer prescription medication.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today. Observed 6 children ( 13-points) directly supervised by the provider and an assistant. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. A sample of 2 children's records and posted provider and assistant documents were reviewed. The home and emergency procedures were also reviewed. No medications were reported on site. The children were engaged in various activities, to include: free play, table time activities, coloring and shape sorters. The interior of the family day home was found to be clean, organized, and well supplied with toys and equipment for the children. Hand washing and potty training routines were also discussed.
