Discussed requirement for annual lockdown drill and notifying the department of any serious injuries.
An unannounced non-mandated subsidy inspection was conducted today beginning at 9:50am. The physical space, vendor and caregiver training certificates, allergy action plans, emergency drills, emergency reunification procedures, children's records and attendance records were reviewed. Required documents were posted. Food services and hazardous substances were discussed. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.
Standard #: VENDHOM-000-012-A Description: Based on record review, the provider has not yet complete the Virginia Pre-service Training for Child Care Staff. Evidence: The provider stated she has not yet completed all 10 hours of training. Plan of Correction: I will complete the training as soon as possible.
