An unannounced, mandated monitoring inspection was conducted today. The inspector arrived at 1:50 PM and departed at 3:30 PM. Three children, totaling eight points were in care with one caregiver. A sample size of two caregiver records and three children's records were reviewed. It was reported that there have been no children's injuries and no medication has been administered to children in care. An exit meeting was conducted with the provider prior to closure of the inspection. Please contact the inspector if there are any questions.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-800-B Description: Based upon review of the provided emergency preparedness plan, the provider has not ensured that the emergency plan is reviewed at least annually, updated as needed and that the review and update are documented in writing. Evidence: The most recent documented review and update of the emergency plan is dated 11/13/2013. Plan of Correction: The emergency plan will be reviewed and updated annually. The plan will be updated when the lockdown procedures are added.
