Discussed evaction drills.
An afternoon inspection was conducted today. The Inspector arrived and found 5 children present with the Provider for a total of 15 points. Two children left shortly after the inspection began. The Inspector reviewed the space, materials, records, and documents that were posted on the wall. The Inspector downloaded the application and had the Provider fill it out during the inspection because the license has expired and the office had not received it. Special care and hand washing was also observed.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-830-A Description: Based on record review, the Provider did not practice monthly evacuation drills. Evidence: 1. The chart shows the last evacuation drill was conducted in February. Plan of Correction: I will do two this month.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-90-A Description: Record review of 3 children's files revealed that Provider is not ensuring parents provide updated immunizations once every six months for children under the age of two years. Evidence: 1. Child 2, born in December, 2015, has an immunization record that shows last immunization was conducted on July, 2016 which is over 6 months ago. Plan of Correction: I will request the information.
