An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted today. Observed 5 children (14 points) directly supervised by the provider. Ratio and supervision were in compliance. Operational responsibilities, children's information, caregiver training and development, parental involvement and notifications, nutrition and food services, emergencies and emergency drills, and transportation and field trips were reviewed. The children were engaged in various activities, to include: building with blocks, reading a story, acting out animal actions, and eating snack. Hand washing and potty routines were also observed. An area of non-compliance is identified in this report. The exit interview was conducted with the Provider. Inspection conducted 10:45 am to 12:15 pm. Description: Based upon review of documents required elements were found to be missing from the emergency response plan. Evidence: The emergency response plan was missing the addition of "Lock down" procedures added to the plan.

Plan of Correction: The provider will add lock down procedures to emergency plan. Listed under VENDHOM-000(7)-029 B.4 (page 26/27 of appendix A)Also adding required drill to existing emergency response drills to be practiced once annually.
