- Technical Assistance:
Discussed annual training requirement of 16 hours for both the provider and assistants. Suggested training on redirection of behavior and behavior modification. Also discussed the requirement for 2 shelter in place drills per year and the annual review of children's emergency records which are to be signed by parents.
An unannounced renewal study was conducted today beginning at 10:40am. 8 children (21 pts) were directly supervised by 2 caregivers. Ratios were in compliance. The physical site, all household member records, provider and assistant records, 3 children's records, attendance records, evacuation drills and the menu were reviewed. Required documents were posted. Children were observed engaged in free play, working with play dough, coloring, washing hands and preparing for lunch. The space was clean and contained an abundant supply of age appropriate materials. No violations were cited today. For any questions regarding this inspection, contact email@example.com.
