Technical assistance was provided on maintaining records for children and staff.
A focused unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 11:00am-11:45am. There were 8 children (21 points) directly supervised by 2 staff. The home, 2 staff records, 2 children?s records, and evacuation drills were inspected. Children were observed playing freely. There was an abundant supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. The home was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-60-B Description: Based on record review, the provider didn't maintain a complete child's record. Evidence: Child A is missing a physical examination documentation and the medical insurance id number for the child. Plan of Correction: I will talk to the parent and get the information.
