Provider stated she is not in the subsidy program.
An unannounced inspection was conducted during the morning from 10-11. The Provider and 1 assistant were present with 6 children for a total of 14 points. There was only one baby present and care was taken to ensure older children were not running by the infant. The attendance record, menu, training documents, and emergency plans were observed hanging on the wall. The license and most recent inspection notes were also posted. The Provider recently renewed her CPR and First Aid and her MAT certification is current. Please call with questions 703-479 4679.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-830-D Description: Based on record review, the Provider has not recorded shelter-in-place drills. Plan of Correction: I will write them down and will do twice a year.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-210-A Description: Based on record review of training documentation provided during the inspection, assistant #2 is short 4 hours of annual training. Evidence: 1. Documentation of training was reviewed and two certificates show a total of 12 hours in training which is 4 hours short of annual requirements. Plan of Correction: I will ask my assistant to give me the training documents or ask her to obtain more training hours.
