Today's visit was a routine monitoring inspection. During the visit the subsidy health and safety inspection was also conducted. Today's inspection began at 10:15am and concluded at 1:20pm. There were eight children in care with one provider and a total of fifteen points. During the inspection the outdoor area was viewed, the provider's record was reviewed, two out of eleven children's records were reviewed, center time play was observed hand washing was observed, lunch time was observed, nap time was observed, the emergency plan was viewed, and some policies and procedures were reviewed. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-90-A Description: Based on the inspector's review of two out of eleven children's records, the provider failed to ensure the immunization records were received before the child's first day of care. Evidence: The record for child #2 has a documented start date of 2/6/17 and the immunization record is signed and dated 2/28/17 after the child began care. Plan of Correction: The provider will ensure immunization records are received before a child may enter care.
