Technical Assistance:
No children with food allergies were enrolled on the date of inspection. Please be aware that children with food allergies must have an allergy plan from a physician for children with food allergies.

Comments:
An unannounced non mandated inspection subsidy inspection was conducted today between 3:00pm and 4:00pm. The physical space, vendor and caregiver training certificates, allergy action plans, emergency drills, emergency reunification procedures, children's records and attendance records were reviewed. Required documents were posted. Food service and hazardous substances were discussed. Areas of non-compliance are in the Violation Notice.

Description: Based on a review of the emergency preparedness plan, the family day home did not have a written emergency preparedness plan that addresses caregiver responsibility and home readiness with respect to lockdown. Evidence: The emergency preparedness plan did not include a plan for a situation where the family day home may need to employ lockdown procedures.

Plan of Correction: The provider will add a lockdown procedures to the emergency plan,
