An unannounced monitoring inspection was completed on July 28, 2017. The purpose of this visit was to measure the facility?s compliance with the licensing standards. There were 3 children in care, for a total of 10 points with one caregiver.
The children were observed getting ready for nap. The children ate a lunch of peanut butter and jelly, mixed vegetables, and milk. The facility does not administer medication. The facility does not provide transportation. The last evacuation drill was conducted 6/13/17. The most recent shelter -in-place was conducted 3/28/17. A whole house walk through was conducted. One caregiver, and three children?s records were reviewed.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-960-E Description: Based on observations at the facility, the provider did not ensure that the two infant bottles were labeled with the infants' full name and the date. EVIDENCE: The inspector observed bottles belonging to the two infants in care that were not labeled with the child's full name and date. Plan of Correction: I told the parents to make labels with the child's full name and to be sure to label the bottles when they return on Monday morning. I will label the bottles with the date each morning.
