Comments:
An unannounced subsidy monitoring inspection was conducted on July 31, 2017. The provider and her assistant were present with 4 children. The children had circle time, played, used the rest room room, and ate lunch during the inspection. Two children's files and 1 care giver file were reviewed. There were no medications being administered, and no children in care with allergies. Inspection began: 10:15 Inspection ended: 12:00

Standard #: VENDHOM-000-029-A
Description: Based on a review of the emergency preparedness plan, the family day home did not have a written lock down procedure. Evidence: The emergency preparedness plan did not include procedures and reunification for lock down situations.

Plan of Correction: A lock down procedure with reunification will be written and included with the emergency preparedness plan.
