Licensing inspector arrived at 1:10 pm and departed at 3:30pm to conduct a licensing inspection and a Subsidy Health and Safety inspection. At the time of the tour there was four children in care with 1 staff (14points)Children were observed napping, freely playing , washing hands and eating snack. The sample size consisted of 5 children records and 1 provider record. Areas of non-compliance was reviewed with the provider.

Description: Based on record review and interview, the vendor did not ensure there was a written record (hard copy) of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs. Evidence: During the inspection conducted on August 31, 2017, there was not documentation of arrival and departure of each child in care. Confirmed with provider.

Plan of Correction: Provider will make sure attendance will be taken when child arrives and child departures.

Description: Based on and interview and review of procedures, the vendor did not have written emergency preparedness plan that address lockdown and reunification for evacuation, shelter in place and lockdown. Evidence: During the subsidy inspection conducted on August 31, 2017, the vendor did not have lockdown procedures. The vendor did not have procedures to address reunification for evacuation , shelter in place and lockdown, and home containment procedures.

Plan of Correction: The provider will update emergency preparedness plan today.
