Technical Assistance:
Resourced provided for ten hours of online training to provider. You are reminded effective 7/1/2017 to use the new Sworn Disclosure form which includes a statement about residency outside of Virginia. Central Registry and Sworn Disclosures are now required to be requested every five years. Discussion on status of fingerprinting requirements.

An unannounced Renewal inspection was conducted this date. Six children (16pts) with Provider were present during the inspection. Observation of physical plant conducted and outside play area. All household and staff records were reviewed today and background checks, CPR/First Aid certification and annual training were verified. A review of the emergency preparedness plan was conducted and annual review was documented. The program area was found neat, organized and supplied with ample toys, books, games and equipment determined age appropriate for the age of the children in care today. Diapering area inspected and determined compliant. Children just finished lunch which consisted of beef, vegetables and grapes. Circle time observed where provider was observed singing nursery rhyme songs with the children. Children observed singing along and practicing counting numbers. Table activities such as practicing writing the number "B" was completed by the older children. Positive interaction between provider and children. A nice transition from free play to circle time was observed. No medications or skin topicals on site today. This inspection began at 12:00pm and ended at 1:15pm.
