Technical Assistance:
Discussed organizing and creating additional space for the children to play.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring visit was conducted today beginning at 10:35am. 7 children (14points) were directly supervised by 2 caregivers. Ratios were in compliance. The physical space, 5 children's records, provider, assistant and household member records were reviewed. Evacuation drills, the Emergency Preparedness Plan, menu and attendance records were also reviewed. Required documents were posted. Children were observed building with legos, coloring and interacting with the caregivers. Interactions were positive. Areas of non-compliance are documented on the Violation Notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-800-B
Description: Based on record review, the provider did not review the emergency plan at least annually and update the plan as needed. The provider did not document in writing each review and update to the emergency plan. Evidence: The last review documented on the plan available for review, was 3/19/2011.

Plan of Correction: No changes have been made but I will start reviewing annually.
