Four (4) children's and the records for the provider and one household member was reviewed and updated. No medication is being administered at this time. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Standard #: VENDHOM-000-029-B-5
Description: Based on review of the provider's lockdown procedures in the emergency preparedness plan and discussion with the provider, the procedures did not include all of the required information. Evidence: 1. The lockdown procedures did not include: A) methods to account for all children in the lockdown locations; B)accommodations or special requirements for infants, toddlers, and children with special needs to ensure their safety during lockdown; C) procedures to address reuniting children with parents or authorized person designated by the parent to pick-up the child. 2. The provider confirmed that she had not added these components to the lockdown procedures.

Plan of Correction: I will work on these procedures to include the new requirements. I will send a copy to the inspector once it is complete.

A compliance history is in no way a rating for a facility.

The online compliance history includes only information after July 1, 2003. In addition, the online compliance history includes information regarding adverse actions that may be the subject of a pending appeal. An adverse action is not final until a provider has exhausted or waived all due process rights. For compliance history prior to July 1, 2003, or information regarding the status of pending adverse actions, please contact the Licensing Inspector listed in the facility's information. The Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) is not responsible for any errors in or omissions from the compliance history information.
