Today's visit was a renewal inspection. There were six children in care with two caregivers and a total of sixteen points. The inspection began at 11am and concluded at 1:45pm. During the inspection the outdoor play area was viewed, diapering was observed, snack was observed, nap time was observed, the licensee's record was reviewed, the assistant's record was reviewed, five out of seven children's records, the entire home was viewed, emergency supplies were viewed, and some policies and procedures were reviewed. Discussion took place regarding potable fencing for use when children are transitioning from a crib to a rest mat. Discussion took place regarding the new background check requirements. Your renewal application has been received in our office and once today's inspection and your renewal application is deemed complete a recommendation regarding your license can be made. Description: Based on the inspector's observations, the provider failed to ensure children do not eat or drink while walking, running, playing, or lying down. Evidence: The inspector observed a child in care walk and drink from s sippy cup and then lie down on the floor and drink from the cup.

Plan of Correction: The provider stated she does not allow children to eat or drink while walking, running, playing or lying down. She will only give children their sippy cups when they are seated at a high chair or table.
