- Technical Assistance:
An unannounced renewal inspection was made on November 9, 2017 at 10:00 a. m. and concluded at 12:15. The inspector met with the provider and reviewed family day home standards. There were three family day home children present with points equaling 7. The provider was caring for the children. The children were observed having free play with a variety of toys and listening to music. Four children records were reviewed. The provider is not administering any medications. Conversations were held with the provider. Routine check of the home was conducted. The last monthly evacuation drill was conducted on 10/3/17. Shelter-in-place drill conducted on 2/3/17.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-320-B Description: Based on observation the provider did not have all outlets capped with protective covers. Evidence: On 11/9/17, there was one outlet uncapped in the bathroom. Plan of Correction: The provider covered the outlet with a protective cap while the inspector was on site.
