Description: Based on direct observation and record review, the family day home did not ensure that the total number of children recieving care at one time does not exceed the maximum licensed capacity of the home. Evidence: During the inspection there were 9 children in care. The capacity for the family day home is 7 children. The provider submitted zoning documentation to the licensing office on November 15th 2017 that would allow for a maximum of 12 children. in care, but the license has yet to be adjusted. Attendance records from October 30 to November 15 2017 were reviewed and the family day home was over capacity 8 of 12 days.

Plan of Correction: Paperwork was approved from the Fairfax County Planning Commission on October 23 allowing me to have 12 children in care at any one time. I understood that the zoning office would send the document to the licensing office.
