An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted beginning at 12:00 p.m. and ending at 1:30 p.m. with the provider and assistant. There were seven children in care ranging in age from five months to four years old for a total of eighteen points. Children were observed having free play after lunch. Children had their choice of a wide variety of toys and games. After free play, children cleaned up and prepared for quiet time before nap. Childcare areas and supplies were observed. Emergency drills were up to date. The weekly menu was posted. Today's lunch was chicken nuggets, green beans, banana, bread and milk. Three provider records, three household member records and four children records. The provider and both assistants completed seventeen hours of training for the license year. The provider is Medication Administration Training (MAT) certified, however there are no medications on site.
