Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted with the provider beginning at 11:00 AM and ending at 12:30 PM. There were three children, ages five months, 12 months, and three years, in care for a total of ten points. One infant was observed being held and bottle fed by the provider. Another infant was observed drinking a bottle in a high chair and being fed banana pieces. The two year old child was observed eating lunch which consisted of chicken, rice, bananas, raspberries, and milk. The diapering and bathroom procedures were observed. The children were also observed preparing for naptime and lying in a crib and on a cot. Three children?s records were reviewed and in compliance. The provider's and two household members' records were reviewed and in compliance. The emergency evacuation drill logs were reviewed. There were no medications on site as the provider is not Medication Administration Training (MAT) certified which is required to administer medication. The first aid kit, flashlight, and weather band radio were observed an in compliance. Description: Based on observation, the provider did not ensure that the all children's hands were washed with liquid soap and warm running water after diapering as required. Evidence: Child A's hands were not washed after diapering.

Plan of Correction: The provider will ensure the children's hands are washed after diapering.
