Today an unannounced renewal inspection was conducted with the Provider. This visit took place in the afternoon between 11:45am-2:45 there were 11 children with the Provider for a total of 29 points within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed having free play, lunch, making holiday cards, and nap time. Positive interactions were observed during this inspection. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and provider records, fire drill log, attendance records, and emergency procedures. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-680-B Description: Based on observation, childs hands were not washed prior to lunch. Evidence: Caregiver was observed giving a toddler food however the child's hands were not washed prior to lunch. All other 10 children's hands were washed. Plan of Correction: Provider will remind staff and make sure that all infants hands must be washed prior to and after feeding.
