Discussed modifications to FDH to accommodate the providers granddaughter that will be joining the program in the upcoming months as well as documentation of proof of birth for school aged children.
Today an unannounced Monitoring inspection was conducted between 11:40am and 2:00pm. There were 4 children present with the provider for a total of 4 points within the supervision guidelines. Today the public schools are closed and the children are in care for the entire day. At the start of the inspection, the children were observed playing card games. The children helped to make their own sandwiches for lunch. They also ate mixed fruit, carrot sticks with dressing and pickles for lunch. An ample supply of toys, books and games are available to the children. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and staff records, fire drill log, menu, attendance and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection. Thank you for your cooperation. If you have any questions, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
A compliance history is in no way a rating for a facility.
The online compliance history includes only information after July 1, 2003. In addition, the online compliance history includes information regarding adverse actions that may be the subject of a pending appeal. An adverse action is not final until a provider has exhausted or waived all due process rights. For compliance history prior to July 1, 2003, or information regarding the status of pending adverse actions, please contact the Licensing Inspector listed in the facility's information. The Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) is not responsible for any errors in or omissions from the compliance history information.
