Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 10:00am-11:45am. At the time of inspection, 4 children (11 points) were directly supervised by the provider. The sample size consisted of 5 children records, 1 household member record, and 2 caregiver records. There were no medications on site today and the provider is MAT certified. Children were observed during snack time (bananas, strawberries, and apples), engaged in group play with toys, creating with play-dough, and listening to music. The provider and assistant are current in CPR, First Aid, and have completed the required annual trainings. There was an abundant supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. Area of non-compliance is identified in the Violation Notice. If you have any questions regarding this inspection, please contact the Licensing Inspector at megan.smith@dss.virginia.gov
