Technical Assistance:
Consultation was given on the new background requirements for finger printing and designating an OBI contact person to receive FieldPrint code. Each program must establish a point of contact with DSS. VDSS will be paying for initial child care fingerprint checks until 9/20/18. Please read, review and respond to all correspondences regarding the fingerprint roll out.

A monitoring visit was contacted today from 9:45-11:15 to modify the license to reflect the new address as the provider has moved. New space is set-up for children ages 0-4. Age appropriate materials and equipment are available. No children are currently in care. Consulted on supervision of large backyard area and designating space just for the day care rather than the whole back yard. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Thank you Ann Dramstad Licensing Inspector 703-314-0860

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-790
Description: Based on observation no phone numbers are posted for emergency personnel. Evidence: Provider confirmed that 911 or non-emergeny police number is not posted.

Plan of Correction: The phone numbers will be posted by the end of the day.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-800-A
Description: Based on review, the current written emergency plan does not reflect the new home set-up. Evidence: The current plan is for the previous home where the day care was located in the basement. New space in the new home will need to be addressed for shelter-in place and relocation components.

Plan of Correction: Plan will be updated and re-written to reflect new home and space for the day care.

A compliance history is in no way a rating for a facility.

The online compliance history includes only information after July 1, 2003. In addition, the online compliance history includes information regarding adverse actions that may be the subject of a pending appeal. An adverse action is not final until a provider has exhausted or waived all due process rights. For compliance history prior to July 1, 2003, or information regarding the status of pending adverse actions, please contact the Licensing Inspector listed in the facility's information. The Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) is not responsible for any errors in or omissions from the compliance history information.
