Reviewed the newly revised Sworn Disclosure Statement and how to fully document completed reference checks for employees. Fingerprinting has started. Reviewed the dates for each person's required fingerprinting.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today. The provider and two assistant caregivers were caring for 12 children, totaling 29 points. Children's records, caregiver records, adult household records, background checks, caregiver training, children's nutrition, and the physical plant were inspected today. It was reported to the Inspector that no children's medications were on site today. The children were observed coloring pictures, playing with toys, completing individual activities, singing songs, and interacting with each caregiver. Pleasant and caring interactions were observed throughout this inspection. The children were to be served lamb, rice with mixed vegetables and tomato sauce, pears, and milk for lunch today. This inspection was completed between approximately 9:30am and 11:40am. Thank you for meeting with me today. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-60-B Description: Based on a review of children's records, it was determined that one record was not complete. Evidence: Child record #4 does not include the mother's work phone number. Plan of Correction: I will ask the parent for the information today.
