An unannounced Renewal inspection was conducted this date. A total of 10 children present, one of which is the Provider's grandaughter (27pts) with Provider and 1 assistant. Younger children were observed playing freely in the play area while older children reviewed the alphabet, completed stamp and sticker work book activities. Diapering and hand washing procedures were observed. Observation of the entire physical plant of the home was made to include the outside play area. The home was found well maintained and supplied with ample toys, books, art supplies and educational workbooks age appropriate for all the children in care at this time. Lunch today was beef, vegetables with rice and milk to drink. No food allergies at this time and no medications on site for the children currently enrolled. Positive interaction observed between staff and children. Nice transitions from one activity to another. Large motor skills today included stretching and dancing. Previous violations were reviewed and corrective actions were verified during this inspection. A total of 6 children's records, all staff and all household member records were reviewed and determined complete. This inspection began at 10am and ended at 11:50.
