- Technical Assistance:
Consultation today included resources for child development issues.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 11 am - 1 pm. There were 7 children present with the provider and assistant for 22 points. I observed children eating lunch and a peaceful transition to nap accompanied by soothing music. There was a wide variety of age appropriate activities available. Records were well-organized and complete, and the new requirement of background checks has been completed. No children's medications were on-site today. Emergency procedures have been updated. If you have any questions, please contact me at email@example.com
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-60-B Description: Based on a review of children's files today, there was no documentation of an annual review of information by parents for some children. Evidence: There was no documentation of an annual review of information for Child # 1, 2, 3 and 4. Plan of Correction: We will have parents review the emergency information in the files.

An adverse action is not final until a provider has exhausted or waived all due process rights. For compliance history prior to July 1, 2003, or information regarding the status of pending adverse actions, please contact the Licensing Inspector listed in the facility's information. The Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) is not responsible for any errors in or omissions from the compliance history information.Virginia Quality is a voluntary quality rating and improvement system for early care and education facilities serving children ages birth through pre-K.
