Discussed points system/ratios during transportation.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 12:45pm-1:45pm. There were 11 children (22 points) directly supervised by 2 staff. The home, 2 staff records, 5 children?s records, 3 household member?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing freely, finishing lunch and transitioning into naptime. Hand washing procedures were also observed. There was an abundant supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. The home was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-830-C Description: Based on review of the emergency response drills records, the provider did not document monthly emergency response drills. Evidence: An emergency evacuation drill was not documented for the month of February. Plan of Correction: We'll make sure that we document all evacuation drills.
