Comments:
An unannounced renewal study was conducted with the provider from 12:15 p.m.-1:30 p.m. 3 children, ages 8 months, 19 months, and 22 months old were all under the care of the provider and assistant for a total of 10 points. Children were observed napping, playing with a baby doll, and having tummy time. Required information was posted. A complete first aid kit, weatherband radio, and flashlight were present. The last emergency escape drill was 2/26/18. The last shelter-in-place drill was 1/22/18. There were no medications to review; the provider does not administer medications. Both the provider and assistant hold current first aid and CPR certification through ASHI. Three household members' records, four children's records, and one dog's record were reviewed and complete. For any questions about this inspection, please contact licensing inspector Marty Quade at (540) 272-5065 and Marty.Quade@dss.virginia.gov.
