Comments:
An unannounced renewal study was conducted today beginning at 11:00am. 7 children (16pts) were directly supervised by 2 caregivers. A household member/substitute arrived during the inspection. The physical space, evacuation logs, menu, household member records, caregiver records, 3 children's records, cribs and changing tables were reviewed. Required documents were posted. No medications were on site. The front entry had been rearranged and areas cleared for more space. There was an abundance of age appropriate materials available to the children. Interactions between the caregivers and children were positive. The children were observed eating lunch (pasta with chicken and vegetables, yogurt and fruit shakes). Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. For questions regarding this inspection, please contact stephanie.salvatori@dss.virginia.gov.
